Alaska Junior Premier LeagueAbout the Alaska Junior Premier League

The Alaska Junior Premier League (AJPL) is the leading elite-level soccer league for middle school and junior high school female players based in Anchorage, Alaska and its surrounding areas. As an associate member of Alaska Youth Soccer, this competitive U13-U15 league aims to offer a higher-level of competition for soccer players and teams looking to play a truer version of the game during the winter months while preparing for the summer season and tournaments out of state.


DIVISIONS & SCHEDULES:
The Alaska Junior Premier League is a 9-a-side U13-U15 league for female soccer players. The league runs from the beginning of January to the end of April with an 12-game schedule that offers a game once a week (unless otherwise noted).

*There will be no games scheduled between March 7 - 16, 2014 in observence of the Spring Break holiday.

All games will be held at the Tanglewood Dome (11801 Brayton Drive, Anchorage, Alaska 99516).

Please Note: Fixtures are subject to change. Teams/Players will be notified at least two weeks in advance to any scheduling change. 

AGES & ROSTERS:
The Alaska Junior Premier League is a U13-U15 league which is specifically designed for female soccer players falling between the birth ranges below. These players can compete with their age-specific team or as a team with a mixture of birth ranges.

U13 teams will be allowed to roster a maximum of five elder players and U14 teams will be allowed to roster a maximum of three elder players, i.e. anyone beyond their specific Birth Range, to play in the Alaska Junior Premier League.

All players rostered must provide proof of age with either a Birth Certificate upon completion of registration to recieve Player Passes. Any member of the roster who isn't a member of Alaska Youth Soccer and hasn't completed the USYS Membership Form must pay an additional $25 to qualify under the Alaska Youth Soccer liability insurance. Upon receipt of the required documentation, Official Rosters and Player Passes will be issued to the teams by the Alaska Junior Premier League.

Please Note: Teams may not register players U16 and older to compete in the Alaska Junior Premier League. 

Regarding Roster Sizes, teams competing in the Alaska Junior Premier League must have a minimum of 11 players and no more than a maximum of 22 players on the roster for league play (to include five elder players for U13 and three elder players for U14 teams). Additionally, players may also be rostered with up to two teams.

COST:
The Alaska Junior Premier League Registration Fee is $1,500 per 12-game season, which runs from January 2013 - April 2013.

Please Note: Notice of registration for the Alaska Junior Premier League must be completed by by Friday, December 21, 2012.

The Alaska Junior Premier League Registration Fee must be paid in full by January 4, 2013; otherwise, teams deliquent with their Registration Fee will forfeit any games scheduled thereafter until the outstanding balance has been collected. Additionally, any players registered to a team with an outstanding balance may be subject to the Alaska Youth Soccer No Pay/No Play list.

Please Note: Any team paying the FULL Registration Fee by December 1, 2012, will receive a $250 reward back on their Registration Fee. 

REFUND POLICY:

The Alaska Junior Premier League expects its participants to be extremely satisfied with the operations of the league. However, we also understand that certain situations may arise and the Alaska Junior Premier League cannot always accommodate everyone's needs. In every program there are initial setup costs and administration fees in order to assist in making it successful and run smoothly. For this reason, the Alaska Junior Premier League has developed the following the refund policy:

Anytime up to two weeks prior to the first game of the season: 100% Refunded 

Two weeks or less prior to the first game of the season: 50% Refunded

From the start of first game of the season onwards: 0% Refunded
