The Future is Alaska Rush’s premier player development program for youth soccer players in Anchorage, Alaska.
The Mission of The Future:
To provide youth the opportunity to develop as soccer players and inspiring them to reach their fullest potential. The Future is an ongoing 12-month program where players train in a challenging, high tempo, game-specific environment with the primary objective being the growth of the player and his/her individual skills.
AGES:
The Future program is specifically designed for players aged 4 - 10 years old.
DIVISIONS & SCHEDULES:
(All sessions held on Saturdays at the Tanglewood Dome)
The Program Begins February 4, 2012
- U6: (4 - 5 years old as of August 1, 2011)
9:00 - 10:00 am
(Limited to 12 enrollments) - U8: (6 - 7 years old as of August 1, 2011)
10:00 - 11:00 am
(Limited to 16 enrollments) - U10: (8 - 9 years old as of August 1, 2011)
11:00 am - 12:00 pm
(Limited to 20 enrollments)
Alaska Rush Soccer Club staff will notify all Members of any changes to the schedule.
Attendance:
Players are strongly encouraged to participate in continuous sessions within The Future curriculum in order to get the full benefit of the training program. A member’s class roster enrollment will be reserved for 30-day period should he/she wish to take a break from the class (upon written notice from the member or member’s parents).
Please Note: The Future will take a break from its twelve-month co-ed program during the weekend of the Alaska Airlines Cup, Alaska Youth Soccer State Cup, and the Saturdays after both the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

- Academy Manager for the TFA Elite Soccer Academy, a premier soccer school program for American military personnel and their dependents stationed on Yokota AB, Japan.
- Head Varsity Coach for Yokota HS Boys' Soccer
- Goalkeeper Coach for Nike's Grassroots Soccer Clinics in Japan where he worked directly with academy/youth coaches from top European sides such as Celitc FC, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, and the KNVB.
- Certificates: English FA Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Football (UEFA B), USSF National C License, USSF National Goalkeeping License, and Scottish FA Level 2 Goalkeeping Certificate.
COST — annual membership and monthly fee:
Academy Membership: $75 annual fee per player
The Future Monthly Fee: $50 (4 training sessions per month)
Academy Membership is required to participate in The Future player development program. This fee is non-negotiable and must be paid in full before participation in The Future program begins. -Please Note: For families of the Alaska Rush community with at least two children enrolled in The Future, each additional child registering thereafter will receive a 50% discount on their Academy Membership.
Academy Membership includes:
- Access to top-quality coaching through The Future program
- An official The Future Kit (Socks, Shorts & Shirt)
- Exclusive use of all equipment
Refund Policy:
After a member has been registered in The Future, no refunds will be issued. Alaska Rush Soccer Club incur costs whether or not a player finishes the program.
