Special Programs - Rush Thunder (TOPSoccer)
About Rush Thunder (TOPSoccer)
Rush Thunder is a part of the Total Outreach Program for Soccer (TOPSoccer), which is designed to meet the needs of players with special abilities. The Rush Thunder program was established to promote the game of soccer within a unique segment of our club's community. The program, designed by Rush Directors and Coaches, consists of fun games and activities each day with at least 30 minutes of match play at the end. Players range in ages from 4 to young adult, both male and female.
2014 Rush Thunder Spring Schedule:
Dates: March 4, 6, 11, 13
Location: Fox Hollow Dome
Cost: $40 per player (4 sessions)
Our objective is to have the best TOPSoccer program in the Nation by providing players with special needs of all ages the opportunity to play and enjoy the game of soccer.
Each session is geared towards fun and development rather than competition. Athletes are placed on teams according to ability and NOT BY AGE.
What should a parent expect from the program:
- The program will be a fun and meaningful experience for the parent and their child.
- The program will be adapted in ways that will ensure their child learns at his/her ability.
- The program will be safe and organized.
- The program will improve the overall fitness, self esteem and social skills of their child.
"Where passion is always on display and victory is shared by all!"
