Alaska Rush Youth Soccer League (RYSL) is a non-profit league that provides recreational soccer for the youth of the Anchorage area. Alaska Rush Soccer Club is affiliated with the Alaska Youth Soccer and US Youth Soccer Associations.
RYSL is a mix of a recreational level league with high level academy training lead by experienced directors.  We have three distinct seasons:
-Summer: June 12-July 28, 2017
-Winter I: October 16-December 16, 2017
-
Winter II: January 15-March 15, 2018

RYSL has three divisions; coed Under 4, Under 6, and Under 8.

The Alaska Rush fields (Lloyd Steele Park) are some of the nicest in Anchorage, offering 3v3, 4v4, and 7v7 fields and training for our competitive teams all in one location. The Developmental Jamboree will follow the summer season.

Q & A
How many kids are on each team?
We will have the U6/U8 Micro teams max out at 8 players.. This will allow for a little bit of flexibility if you have a player on vacation.
Why are the teams so small?
These small sided games provide players the best opportunity to acquire a ton of touches in a short amount of time. It's also a very fast pace game with a lot of scoring. Action packed modified games that grows with the player.
Why is the season so short?
We want to provide a fun league during the summer without eating up all of your summer vacation time with your family.
Will there be referees?
Coaches will referee the U6/U8 matches.
Who's the coach?
Each coach will be licensed and professional.
What license or certificates are required to coach?
Each coach is required to take the online US Soccer F coaching license; the $25 cost will be reimbursed once completed.  State Youth Modules are highly encouraged.
Will there something after the season?
Yes! There will be a Soccer Jamboree for all families with games, prizes and fun (summer only).
What if my player needs more?

Players showing more technical, physical, and psychological aptitude and competitive spirit may qualify for higher-level playing opportunities by being placed on an U9/10 Academy Team; these teams identify those advanced players at an early age and aim to further along their development by fast-tracking them into a more competitive soccer environment.  These U9/10 Academy teams will be formed for the Winter II Season starting in January and will participate in the UAYSL Winter II league.

So ask yourself this: is it your player's desire and passion to grow and excel in the game of soccer in a positive and enjoyable team environment? If so, then the Alaska Rush Youth Soccer League is the right place to begin that path.
